The Carlos Lopes Pavilion (Pavilhão Carlos Lopes) is a building on the territory of the Edward VII Park, built in 1923 for the World's Fair. For a long time it was used for conferences and political gatherings. But in 1984, it was renamed in honor of Olympic marathon runner Carlos Lopes and made a museum.
