If any foreigner had asked me, "Which city would you recommend visiting in Russia?" I would have immediately started the story with this city. And it's not because of the famous inscription "Russia begins here." This city can be called one of the most beautiful places in our country.

The most mysterious and unusual male monastery in our country. Essentially, it is a fort situated in a valley rather than on an elevation. And the reason for this is the caves. Or rather, as the inscription says, the 'caves bestowed by God'.

Ancient places where buildings have stood for hundreds or even thousands of years immerse tourists in the distant past and distance them from modern civilization with its new technologies.

The Golden Ring of Russia is a famous route from 8 cities: Sergiev Posad — Pereslavl-Zalessky — Rostov Veliky — Yaroslavl — Kostroma — Ivanovo — Suzdal — Vladimir is worth your attention for travelers. Interesting sights, beautiful views and many other pleasures will meet and accompany you with kind memories.

There are 30 UNESCO heritage sites in Russia, and most of them you visited without knowing about it. And if you haven't visited, then be sure to visit – unique attractions are available to everyone in our country.

For the whole trip around the country, we had only one weekend. But that did not stop us from seeing an incredible number of beautiful historical sites, feeling the energy that connects our present with the historical past. I decided to dedicate a separate my travel note to the churches of Ohrid.

We traveled around Turkey by car, so Fethiye could be appreciated only by the ruins of the ancient Lycian city at sunset. In the rays of the setting sun, the stone carvings on the rock shone with gold.
