Pamukkale in Turkey is by all accounts some other planet. If it weren't for the endless stream of people, one would think that you are not here. At all.

Hierapolis is an ancient city near Denizli, now called Pamukkale and is located next to the famous landmark of Turkey, travertine terraces.

Our road trip to Turkey often involved deviations from the course in unplanned places. Ayvalyk turned out to be one of them, where you just can't go if you don't have such a goal, although it appears in the guidebooks as a resort town. In fact, it is a weekend destination for the local population and a real center of the olive industry.

Personally, I advise you to go to Turkey in the summer, at the peak of the heat. The heat is good here because it is dry and the sea is nearby. The whole climatic flavor of Turkey can be felt during the peak season.

Here in Russia, love and pigeons are accepted, and in Turkey - Selcuk and storks. Storks are the calling card of Selchuk, along with the grandiose ancient ruins of Ephesus.

Special frames have been installed on the tops of the pillars of the former aqueduct so that storks can freely build their nests.

Spontaneous trips around Turkey are good because you never know which of what you see today will amaze you to the depths of your soul – ruins or a nice cafe, Turkish seals or a random beach on the way from city to city, a hotel or a sunset overlooking windmills.

We traveled around Turkey by car, so Fethiye could be appreciated only by the ruins of the ancient Lycian city at sunset. In the rays of the setting sun, the stone carvings on the rock shone with gold.

Kash – by chance–a special point of our rally in Turkey turned out to be so unexpectedly beautiful that it immediately got into the list of places that you want to visit more and, perhaps, more than once. Everything here is not as it is customary in the package tourism industry. If you are traveling without a tour, then places like Kash will obviously appeal to you.

When you travel around the country by car as a navigator, you mostly see the roads. The roads in Turkey throughout the territory are excellent, driving on them is a pleasure.
