Jelgava Embankment
The modern city embankment of the Lielupe and Drixa rivers with spectacular bridges and cozy places to relax are connected to a walking area — the Jelgava embankment. The promenade is divided into pedestrian and bike paths, there are a lot of lanterns, benches and bike parks.

About the promenade
The promenade along the Lielupe
Numerous pedestrian and automobile bridges connect the left and right parts of Jelgava, and between them there is an island for walking and a Palace Park. You can take a walk along Lielupe by boats, saps or catamarans.
A fountain called "Jelgava student" is quite interestingly implemented under the bridge.
