The Bridge of Love is one of the most romantic places in Tbilisi. Traditionally, lovers hang up "love locks", thereby perpetuating their union. The key is thrown into the river so that no one can open the lock and separate.

About the bridge
Historically, the bridge of love was the bridge near the Orbeliani bathhouse, but a few decades ago the tradition was picked up on the bridge a little further along the gorge closer to the Legvtakhevi waterfall.
