Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre
Tbilisi state theatre of Opera and ballet named after Zakaria Paliashvili (Zakaria Paliashvili Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre, თბილისის ზაქარია ფალიაშვილის სახელობის ოპერისა და ბალეტის სახელმწიფო თეატრი) is a Georgian theatre, founded in 1851. Since 1937, it has been named after the largest composer of Georgian classical music, Zahariya Paliashvili. The theater is the oldest cultural institution in Tbilisi and is famous for performances and opera with the participation of the best Georgian and world actors and voices.
