Msheireb Museums are four historical houses that were restored during the creation of a modern and technologically advanced Msheireb district. Each of them reveals aspects of Qatar's cultural and social development.
The House of Bin Jelmud
The museum's exposition makes you think about the cumulative social, cultural and economic contribution of everyone to the development of human civilization. He tells about the history of slavery, its transformation into modern forms of human exploitation.
Company House
The building was used as the headquarters of Qatar's first oil company. In the museum, you can explore the history of the innovators of the Qatari oil industry and their families who transformed Qatar into a modern society. Here you can view photos and study the stories of those people who have made the development of the nation a priority in their lives.
The House of Mohammed Bin Jassim
In this house you can learn the history of Doha and its unique architectural heritage. The house was built by Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al-Thani and demonstrates Qatar's task in finding a balance between modern life and preserving cultural heritage. Here you can not only look at historical objects found during the construction of the Msheireb Downtown Doha district, but also see how the area has changed over time, and what it should become in the future.
Radwani House
The Radwani House, built in 1920, tells about the most important value — the family. The discovery of oil and the advent of electricity changed society, and family life changed with it. In the house, you can study historical objects found during archaeological excavations, which will allow you to consider everyday life and family life before the advent of familiar technologies in our time.
Admission is free, but it is necessary to register in the first of the visited houses. When entering other buildings, inform them that registration has already been completed.
