On the mountain there is a modern food mall with a view of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and souvenir vending machines. There is a convenient cable car, but keep an eye on the weather, the route may be closed in a hurricane. It's cool and damp upstairs, so even in summer it's better to dress warmly. In winter, there is a ski resort and many descents of varying difficulty
