Sakhalin Regional Art Museum

The Sakhalin Regional Art Museum is the largest art museum on Sakhalin and the only art museum in the region. The museum's collection includes more than 17 thousand items, including Russian art of the 19th and 20th centuries, decorative and applied art of the 18th and 21st centuries, and art of the Far East. The museum's exposition is represented by works of painting, graphics, calligraphy, sculpture and decorative and applied arts. The museum was founded in 1983.
