The temporary exhibition, created jointly with the Government of the Sakhalin Region, tells about the history of the development of Sakhalin Island, its cultural life and traditions, the most significant development projects and modern industry directions.

The exposition presents: fishing, oil, energy and coal industries, construction, trade, agriculture, education, tourism, sports, healthcare, culture, transport and social support. Visitors can get acquainted with hydrophysical stations, models of the Molikpak platform, the Yastreb and Berkut drilling rigs, theater awards, the airport complex, biographies of industry workers and fascinating statistical data.
