There are two town halls in Kuldiga – one of them is the Old Town Hall, which is an architectural monument of national importance and an important part of the cultural heritage of the Old Town of Kuldiga, and the second is a neo–Gothic building that appeared in 1868 and is still a government institution. Both buildings are located on the Town Hall Square.

In the very center of the New Town Hall building there is a clock, which has its own highlight: the same clockwork showed time in two directions: one dial is located outside the building, the other inside.

Events and fairs are held on the square near the old and new town halls, there is also a fountain in which children willingly like to have fun.
