The province of Krabi includes more than 150 large and small islands. The main ones are:

Ko Phi Phi is an archipelago consisting of two main and four tiny islands. In fact, there are not six islands in the archipelago, but four. Ko Bida Noi and Ko Bida Nok are just large limestone formations with a common base.

Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest island in the archipelago. It has gained special fame due to its numerous beaches. This island was severely affected by the tsunami in 2004, when about 70% of the infrastructure and most of the population were destroyed. A scattering of islands in the path of the devastating tsunami extinguished the deadly wave, so the coastal part of the province was not affected by the disaster.

Ko Phi Phi Leh is a small island with Maya Bay and limestone cliffs. Diving enthusiasts can visit the reef to see the sunken ferry "King Cruiser".

Ko Yung or Mosquito Island is a great place for day trips. You can get here by long-tailed boat from Tonsai Pier.

Due to the large flow of tourists, Krabi accepts flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bangkok and a number of major cities at its own international airport 7 km from the capital of the region, Krabi Town.

Highway 4 also passes through Krabi, where you can get by bus, taxi or car from Bangkok to the border with Malaysia.

There are several small tourist ports on the coast of Krabi, where boats, speedboats and ferries arrive from Phuket and other resorts.

There is no railway in Krabi, and the nearest railway station is in Surat Thani, 155 km from Krabi Town. Therefore, it is impossible to get by train directly to Krabi, only with a transfer.
