Ko Phi Phi is an archipelago consisting of two main and four tiny islands. In fact, there are not six islands in the archipelago, but four. Ko Bida Noi and Ko Bida Nok are just large limestone formations with a common base.

Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest island in the archipelago. It has gained special fame due to its numerous beaches. This island was severely affected by the tsunami in 2004, when about 70% of the infrastructure and most of the population were destroyed.
