A country that can be traveled in a couple of days. Not as "shiny" as the neighbors, but authentic and really pleasant.

Yes, it happened! About a year before that, I happened to be on a transfer at Manama airport. There was even a separate post about it. Now it's time to explore the country itself.

Surprisingly, I discovered Arabica coffee shop in Bahrain by accident. The coffee is really very good here. And the interior... Just a pleasure.

I continue to tell you about the country. One of Bahrain's most famous landmarks is the twin towers of the Bahrain World Trade Center. They are the recognizable symbol of the country.

A little bit about the beaches. Perhaps the best of all is Marassi beach in Diyar Al Muharraq. Clean sand, lots of cafes, sports fields and swings. Entrance is paid — 3bd on weekdays and 5bd on weekends. In winter, there is almost no one on the beach. There are good hotels nearby. If beach holidays are a priority, stay here.
