The Park of Nations or Expo (Parque das Nações, Residências Montepio Parque das Nações) is a quarter built in 1998 for the international Expo exhibition. It occupies an area of about 50 hectares along the embankment and includes a train station, a shopping center, a marina, several city parks and recreation areas.
The Park of Nations is one of the most modern places in Lisbon and its cultural center. The thoughtful organization of the space and architecture have made this place a must-visit.

There are several recreation parks, sculptures and art objects on the territory of the quarter, including the famous "Iberian Lynx" and the sculpture "Sun Man", the Lisbon Oceanarium - one of the largest in the world, the Vasco da Gama shopping center, the large Altice Arena exhibition complex, where concerts are often held and the 145 meter Vasco da Gama Tower with panoramic views of Lisbon from the roof.
Much attention is paid to sports – the largest skate park in Lisbon, several tennis and padel tennis courts, a football field, sports and playgrounds have been built here.
The Lisbon Cable Car stretches along the park, which allows you not only to move comfortably along the territory, but also to enjoy magnificent views of the territory and the Tagus River.
As part of the development of the quarter, a large transport hub, Oriente Station, was built, including a metro station, a high–speed and commuter train station, and for those who are used to getting there by car, the Vasco da Gama Bridge.
