The Cathedral (Oslo Cathedral, Oslo Domkirke) is the main church of the Diocese of Oslo, as well as the official venue for such outstanding events as royal wedding ceremonies.
Built in 1697, the cathedral has been reconstructed many times over the centuries. In the 1850s, the interior was changed from Baroque to Neo-Gothic, but in the 1960s it was restored to its original form.

The cathedral attracts visitors with the works of Norwegian artists of the 20th century, as well as stained glass windows by Emmanuel Vigeland. It is also worth visiting the pulpit, the altar, preserved from the XVII century and the organ by Jean Reed, installed in 1997.
