The National Theatre of Oslo (Nationaltheatret) is an arena of drama, magnificent productions of classical and innovative theater, grandiose celebrations and fierce feuds. Tetar was built and opened to visitors in 1899, and in 1983 the theater building was recognized as a cultural heritage site.
