The Arrabida Bridge, Porto

The Arrabida Bridge (Ponte da Arrábida) is an arched bridge over the Douro River. In 1963, the construction of the bridge was completed and at that time the span of 270 meters was the largest of all concrete arch bridges in the world. Thrill seekers can legally climb the arch with safety equipment by contacting the Porto Bridge Climb on the north side of the bridge.
