Cape Slepikovsky (Notoro, Otoro Misaki) is a unique natural complex under state protection. The site of the only relict grove of Korean cedar on Sakhalin. About 200 species of higher plants grow on the territory near the cape, 12 species of mammals, 5 species of amphibians, 2 species of reptiles and 80 species of birds live. Rare species can be found: the mandarin duck or tree frog.
