About the museum
The museum's collection includes works by some famous Orientalist artists, as well as works by local Moroccan artists. The museum also has a small library with books on the history of the East and its influence on the art world, a collection of ceramics, sculptures and other historical artifacts.
The museum is divided into several sections, each of which has its own focus. The first section is devoted to the history of Orientalism, it presents works from the 19th century to the present day. The second section is devoted to the influence of Orientalism on the art world. The third is the work of local Moroccan artists.

The Museum of Oriental Studies is a great place to learn about the history and influence of Orientalism on the art world, as well as to get acquainted with the works of some of the most famous Orientalist artists.
The museum is located in the riad in the center of the Medina. There is a rooftop terrace with a pleasant cafe and views of the Atlas Mountains.
