About the museum

Ben Youssef Madrasah is located in the heart of the old Medina of Marrakech, and is easily accessible from the main square of Jemaa el Fna. The building is a stunning example of Islamic art and architecture, with intricate stucco, beautiful tiles and decorative woodwork. The meders has a large library, which houses many rare and valuable manuscripts.

Visitors can take a guided tour of the building and learn about the history of the madrasah, as well as its importance in the Islamic world. The library also offers lectures and workshops on Islamic art and culture.
