Monte Palace Madeira (Jardim Monte Palace Madeira) is an area on which a 7-hectare garden and a palace building are located, which now houses several museums.
The history of the palace dates back to the 18th century. The three-storey building is mostly occupied by a museum, which hosts an exhibition of works of African art (African Passion Exhibition), historical sculptures, a collection of rare minerals (Mother Nature Collections Museum) brought from all over the world, and an art gallery with paintings.
