Madeira Botanical Garden
The Madeira Botanical Garden (Jardim Botânico da Madeira) is a lush garden in the city of Funchal. It occupies an area of 8 hectares. It was founded in 1960 and has since been replenished with various representatives of flora and fauna. The garden is divided into 7 different zones: arboretum, indigenous and endemic plant species, succulents, medicinal and aromatic plants, palm garden, agro-industrial enterprises and the Luro Bird Park.
