In the Serpukhovsky district, which is pleasant in itself, there turned out to be such an unique world that it is better to see it and show it to the children than your average zoo.
I don't know about you, but I really love nature. I even like the cheesy word for it. No. I feel at home. This never happens in cities. Yes.
We drove across the Moscow suburbs and stopped at the Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve. And there...bisons.

Very picturesque places. The air is somehow unreal.
I was amazed at the tour on the museum grounds. Rarely do you find such an enthusiastic guide in the depths of such incomprehensible knowledge and enthusiasm.

Pedestrian route through zubrarium
There's something anomalous here, of course, in the location itself. It feels like some metaphysical pocket. I somehow felt like an Indian with feathers on my head.
Whether due to the peculiarities of the steppe or just some natural anomaly taking hold, it's nothing like the familiar Russian latitudes here. Something strange about this region. Rare grass and field, in strange proportions.
Bisons seem to be the most independent creatures. They are slow yet majestic. They are not interested in people. Direct access to them is not possible due to protective fences..
The guide talked so interestingly about the habits of these animals, calling everyone by name, and affectionately called the children calves. She paid attention to the papas's behavior, which of course is better not to mess with. And that they have some kind of rare species of North American bison with a big hump. We saw it from a distance.
I would recommend taking an excursion there. The museum is interesting enough for a quality weekend.
Look up.
Russian forest. Everything is like at home. But the feelings are entirely different.
