If anyone is interested in military might - go to the Baltic. There is something to see there. A rare friend can distinguish a cruiser from a destroyer, but yours is not one of them, right?

A cruiser is a large, fast military ship. 'Aurora' is an example. An escort is an eskadronminonosec. It is all simple.

Military ships.

Beacon.

White Swan.

Swans of a different color.

Nothing. A destroyer is a type of warship. There are also aircraft carriers, missile cruisers and torpedo boats, amphibious ships, frigates, corvettes, submarines, air defense ships, PLO, patrol ships, minesweepers, support ships, floating bases, supply ships, rescue support, research ships. And then there are icebreakers, tugs, barges, tankers, aquarians, non-winding demagnetization stations, floating cranes, blockshkivs, killectors, scows and many other interesting things.
