Anak Krakatau

Anak Krakatau Volcano is located in Indonesia in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra islands. Many years ago, the volcano erupted with a magnitude that changed the geography of not only the neighboring islands, but also the climate of the nearby continents. The last eruption was on August 4, 2022, with volcanic ashes reaching up to 1500 meters, forcing people living nearby to evacuate.
