From March 16, 2022 a visa is required for entry into North Macedonia.

You can only get a visa at the Embassy of North Macedonia in Moscow. Submission of documents is in person.

To get a visa, the same documents as for Schengen will be required.

How long can I stay with a visa?

No more than 90 days in a 180-day period from the date of arrival for a type C visa.

Is there any other options?

Yes, there is. It is possible to travel to North Macedonia with a valid open Schengen type C visa, or visas from the USA, Canada, or the United Kingdom. The general validity period of the visa must be more than 5 days from the planned date of departure. The maximum length of stay is 15 days.

The cost of visa processing is 60 euros, for children aged 6-12 - 35 euros.

Do I have a Schengen visa, can I fly with a layover in Skopje?

If your flight requires a transfer without leaving the customs area of the airport, you can do it without any problems. You can only go outside if you have a Schengen multi-visa. You cannot leave the airport with a single visa.
