Arquipélago Contemporary Art Center, Azores

The Arquipélago Center for Contemporary Art (Arquipélago — Arts Center, Arquipélago - Centro De Artes Contemporâneas) is a project whose mission is to spread and create culture: a space for the exchange and interaction of people, knowledge and events. The building, designed by João Mendes Ribeiro Arquitecto and Menos é Mais Arquitectos, is a reconstruction of a former tobacco and alcohol factory.
