About the museum

The museum's exposition includes collections of butterflies, nests, clutches of birds, insects, beetles, amphibians, reptiles, mollusks, marine invertebrates, fish, crustaceans, botanical collections, as well as books, archival documents, various awards and memorial items.

The museum is filled with modern immersive technologies: from the opportunity to hear the voices of birds and animals, to the interactive augmented reality complex "Journey with Animals". Children can study insects under a microscope, and in a small paleopark they can examine sculptures of ancient extinct animals that lived on the territory of Russia.
