The Flam Railway (Flåmsbana, Flåm Utvikling AS) is a 20.2 km scenic route in the western part of Norway, passing through the Floms Valley. This route with the steepest ascent in the world passes through an amazingly picturesque mountainous area with the Kjesfossen waterfall. The railway has 10 stations, at each of which you can enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The Kjosfossen Waterfall is one of the points on the Flom Railway route. The height of the waterfall is 225 meters. There is a small power plant located on the waterfall, which is used to supply electricity to the Flom railway.
