Whaler’s Museum (Museu dos Baleeiros) is a museum located in the building of a former whaling ship warehouse in Lajes do Pico. The museum opened in 1988 and tells about the whaling industry that has flourished on the island since the nineteenth century. The exhibits are diverse and interesting: whale teeth, boats and vessels, seafarers' devices and much more.
