Cape Giant (cape Velikan) is a natural monument of regional importance in the Sakhalin region in the Korsakov district on the coast of the Tonino-Aniva Peninsula. A majestic stone adorns the entrance to the sea. The view is especially magnificent during fog or from observation decks on nearby hills.
The cape got its name due to a stone resembling a giant. It is definitely worth a walk towards the north to the equally famous Cape Ptichiy and observe the many caves, pillars and stone arches of bizarre shapes.
