The Silfra Fault is a rift located in Lake Tingvadlavatn in the Tingvedlir National Park in southern Iceland. The fault is located in the gap between the North American and Eurasian continental plates, where the rift gives researchers and divers the opportunity to penetrate through the depths of the water to the center of the Earth.
