The exhibition of settlements 871 ± 2 is located in the center of Reykjavik and introduces visitors to objects from the Viking age. The building of the modern interactive museum was not chosen by chance, it was built on the ruins of an old Viking house. And the excavations and relics in the museum date back to the period before 871, that is, even before the official beginning of the era of settlement. They were perfectly preserved for the guests and put on public display.
