The Icelandic Punk Museum (Pönksafn Íslands) is one of the most unusual museums in Reykjavik. The museum presents punk music and the history of the country's punk culture. In addition, the museum reflects the essence of the punk wave that swept over Iceland in the early 1980s.

What could be more punk than a Punk museum in an abandoned public toilet in the center of Reykjavik? The creators reconstructed an underground public toilet in the city to serve as an exhibition museum. The exhibits are housed in former toilets and washbasins, where collections of photographs, posters, invoices, instruments, stage equipment and streaming videos of classic club shows are collected.
