The Mafra National Palace (Palácio Nacional de Mafra) is a palace-monastery of King John V, built in 1755 in the Baroque style. The Royal Mafra Building and the surrounding area, including the Serco Garden, the basilica and the monastery, have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The largest royal palace in Portugal is located in the city Mafra.
