The Mandal Museum is a "small town with great artists." The museum is located in the famous merchant's house, which was built in 1801-1805. The exhibits of the museum present a local history exhibition and exhibitions about navigation and fishing. The museum features works by Adolf Tiedemann, Amaldus Nielsen and Gustav Vigeland.
