Lighthouse of Ponta dos Capelinhos (Farol da Ponta dos Capelinhos) is an abandoned lighthouse that was built in the 19th century as a symbol of the eruption of the Capelinhos volcano. You can go up to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic view of the volcano Capelinhos, or go down to visit the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Center.
