Lighthouse of Ponta dos Capelinhos (Farol da Ponta dos Capelinhos) is an abandoned lighthouse that was built in the 19th century as a symbol of the eruption of the Capelinhos volcano. You can go up to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic view of the volcano Capelinhos , or go down to visit the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Center .
