Kedlingarfjöll is a mountain range in Iceland. The volcanic nature of these mountains manifests itself in the form of many hot springs and streams in the area.

In this area, the soil has a reddish tint due to rhyolite. Minerals brought to the surface by hot springs also turn the soil yellow, red and green. The more southern areas are covered with moss.
