Uzon mineral springs are located in the amazingly picturesque caldera of the Uzon volcano, which was formed about 40 thousand years ago as a result of eruptions of a single-stage volcano.
In crater-like craters up to 40 meters deep, carbon dioxide and sulfur waters are constantly released at a temperature of about 120 °C. These funnels form thermal fields, which are called "Uzon springs", the activity of which has changed the vegetation and the surrounding landscape.
