Santa Maria Island, Azores

Santa Maria (Ilha de Santa Maria) is the southernmost of the Azores Islands. The "Yellow Island" was discovered by the first of the archipelago. It covers an area of 97.18 km², which is home to many nature reserves, luxurious beaches and interesting attractions.
