Batumi Drama Theatre
The Batumi drama theatre (Batumi Drama Theatre, ბათუმის დრამატული თეატრი) is a state theatre in the centre of Batumi. The theater building was built in 1952 and is decorated with painted columns with ornaments that deserve special attention. The Drama Theater often hosts performances and shows dedicated to the works of Georgian and Soviet literature and cinema, as well as performances by the National Ballet of Georgia and the Symphony Orchestra.
