The Arctic Henge (Heimskautsgerðið) is located in the northeast of Iceland. The monument-sculpture consists of four six-meter gates and one ten-meter column. The gate functions like a sundial because it catches sunlight and casts shadows in certain places. The art object is inspired by the four main dwarves of Scandinavian mythology, Austri, Nordri, Sudri and Vestri.
