Algar do Carvao Cave
Algar do Carvao Cave is a 90 m deep cave that was formed about 3,200 years ago as a result of the outflow of magma from the main pipe of the volcano. The natural monument is located inside the crater and is a fractured basalt zone. Here you can observe various natural vegetation, stalactites and interesting minerals.
