The Vatnasafn Water Museum is a "Water Library", a long-term, multifaceted installation in the small town of Stikkisholmur. The central element of the platform is transparent cylinders from floor to ceiling. Each of which is filled with meltwater from one of Iceland's 24 glaciers, allowing visitors to take a kind of tour of the whole of Iceland in one room.
