This is definitely a city that is definitely worth a visit. Its history dates back as far as the VI century BC – it was the capital of the Colchian kingdom.

The most famous landmark of Kutaisi is the arch "Mon Plaisir", which means "My pleasure" in French, opens the entrance to the Royal Quarter.

A small port town, which in fact is one of the largest ports of the Black Sea. And if the port of Batumi is used for oil transportation, containers from all over the world come to Poti.

One of my weaknesses is coastal cities. They always have a certain positive attitude, lightness and serenity. The main thing is to be in them outside the tourist season.

Europe Square and buildings of the 19th century European architecture of the period of influence of the Nobels and Rothschilds.

One of the interesting features of Tbilisi is the open doors of entrances and front doors in historical buildings. Do not deny yourself the pleasure of admiring the interior decor.

One of the key historical cities in the world, which, in addition to the original culture of Georgia, absorbed particles of the historical past under the influence of Arabs, Persians, Ottomans, and later Europeans and Russians. This is one of those places that Pushkin, Lermontov, Tolstoy, Griboyedov, Tchaikovsky, Gorky, Chaliapin and many other classics of Russian and world literature, music and painting loved very much. Like for many centuries, this city attracts the creative intelligentsia, which always remains outside of political conventions and restrictions.

This is a classic route for most travelers from Russia to Georgia. In fact, the Upper Lars border checkpoint is the only way to cross the border by car. Go.
