The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is located in the Västürland region. This is a picturesque area with a very diverse landscape: glaciers, mountains, lava fields, beautiful coasts and much more. It is here that the Snaefellsjökull National Park is located, in the center of which the subglacial volcano of the same name Snaifedlsjokull is located.
