The Svetloye lake in Ruskeala, Karelia

The Svetloe lake is a former quarry, but due to the relief there is no canyon and rocks. Only from one of the shores can you see marble blocks that were rejected during mining. The lake is located a little away from the main attractions, so it is considered a great place to enjoy the silence and contemplation of incredibly clear water.
