About the museum

The Whale Museum inside

Currently, the skeletons of 11 whales are on display here, including a sperm whale, a bottle-nosed whale, a minke whale and a narwhal. In 2016, the exhibition "Blue Whales" was opened. The presence of the largest animal on the planet in the building has made the Husavik Whale Museum one of the must-see places in Northern Iceland.
