Husavik

Husavik is a port city in the Nordürland-Eistra region. The city lies on the shore of the bay of Skjaulvandi. In northern Iceland, the city is called the European "whale capital", most whale-hunting tours start from here. In addition, Husavik has a whale museum and a wide range of cultural events.
