The Falkland Islands, this remote and almost mythical corner of the earth, hidden somewhere at the edge of the world, represent a unique blend of nature and culture. They are located in the southwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean and consist of two large islands and about 200 small islets. The nature of the Falkland Islands impresses with its beauty and diversity: here you can see mountain ranges covered with snow, green valleys, untouched forests and majestic waterfalls. Currently, there are only about three thousand people and a million penguins living in the Falkland Islands!
